Class Assembly XI E “स्वर्णिम भारत – विरासत और विकास”

“Freedom in mind, strength in words, pureness in blood, pride and zeal in our hearts.”

The students of Class XI E celebrated the essence of democracy, unity and rich tapestry of India through a special assembly on 76th Republic Day with the theme “स्वर्णिम भारत – विरासत और विकास”. The celebrations commenced with an inspiring thought of the day by Trinetra, highlighting the true meaning of freedom. With patriotic fervor, Maanya Vashisth and Simran Pal presented a beautiful poem on the topic “सपना स्वर्णिम भारत का”, highlighting the vision or aspiration for India to achieve greatness, prosperity, and development. In order to celebrate the country’s freedom and honor its citizens and achievements, Yashna Malik and Ahana Kwatra presented a video presentation, showcasing the historical significance of this grand day. Not only this, the presentation was extended to highlight the present-day relevance of the republic day, especially for the youth of the nation through a power packed presentation on “विरासत: Inheriting our Nation”. It was truly inspiring to know how constitutional awareness, democracy in action, youth led change, unity in diversity, safeguarding freedom and global India are the six pillars of India’s rich tapestry. Through “ललकार” the perfect amalgamation of musical rendition, nukkad natak and dance performance, students showcased how India is playing its part in making the globe a better place for everyone and how we, the youth of the nation is contributing towards it.

The Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, addressed the gathering, reiterating the significance of Republic Day in shaping India’s democratic and secular identity. He also encouraged students to be responsible citizens and take pride in their rich heritage and culture. Following the same, Mr. Puneet Duggal, Vice Principal appreciated and lauded the efforts of the students in putting across such an impressive and informative assembly. The assembly was culminated through National Anthem, which further stirred the patriotic feelings among each and everyone in the audience.

Overall, it was a power packed assembly which stood absolutely true to its theme.
