Report on the Earth Day Special Assembly

On Tuesday, 22nd April 2025, Ahlcon International School, Middle Stage, celebrated Earth Day with a Special Assembly organized by the Social Science Department. The theme ‘Our Power, Our Planet’ set the tone for a thoughtful and engaging hour-long presentation. The programme began with an Invocation, followed by Echoes of Excellence (Thought), News Headlines, and a powerful Role Play highlighting environmental issues. Students then performed Eco Rhythms (Song) and Green Symphony (Dance), spreading awareness through music and movement. A Book Review and Quiz added depth and interaction to the event.

The event aimed to achieve the following objectives:

• Raise awareness about environmental issues and inspire individual actions for a greener planet.
• Foster creativity and expression among students through eco-themed performances.
• Encourage collective efforts within the school and the community to protect and preserve nature.

In his address, the Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav, praised the students for their creativity and concern for the planet. He encouraged them to take action for a greener Earth — starting with small steps at an individual level and moving to collective efforts within their communities and school. The Headmistress, Middle Stage, Ms. Sunanda S Kumar, also appreciated the meaningful performances and appealed to students to be conscious guardians of nature. The event concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired to do their bit for the Earth.
