The Inaugural Ceremony of Literary Week (2025-26)

“The power of literature lies in its ability to awaken our minds, inspire our souls, and connect humanity across generations.”

The Middle Stage of Ahlcon International School inaugurated much-awaited Literary Week with a vibrant ceremony on Monday, 28th April 2025, in the School Auditorium. The event brimmed with creativity, learning, and the joy of expression.

The learning objectives of the assembly were to:

– Foster a love for literature through engaging experiences.

– Encourage creative expression and critical thinking.

– Promote enthusiasm for language and storytelling.

The event began with a warm welcome to the dignitaries, including Special Guest Dr. Vivek Gautam, a celebrated Hindi poet and author, Principal Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Vice Principal Mr. Puneet Duggal, Headmistress Middle Stage Ms. Sunanda S. Kumar, faculty members, and the enthusiastic students of Classes VI to VIII. This was followed by the auspicious Diya Lighting ceremony, symbolising the triumph of knowledge over ignorance.

Principal, Mr. Sanjay Yadav addressed the gathering with inspiring words, highlighting the role of literature in shaping young minds. His message encouraged students to explore books and embrace the joy of expression.

The ceremony featured a lively dance performance and an engaging student-led session, “सुप्रसिद्ध साहित्यिकविभूतियों से साक्षात्कार,” where learners brought to life renowned literary personalities through interactive presentations.

The highlight was the Author Session with Dr. Vivek Gautam, who shared valuable insights into writing, creativity, and the evolving world of literature.

The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Vice Principal Mr. Puneet Duggal, acknowledging the efforts of all participants and organisers. The inauguration set the tone for a week filled with enriching literary activities across Classes VI to VIII, aimed at nurturing creativity, expression, and a love for languages.
