SprachUtsavah 2.0 – A Celebration of Language & Culture

‘Languages are the keys to understanding the heart of another culture’

On April 30, 2025, Ahlcon International School proudly hosted SprachUtsavah 2.0, a vibrant celebration of languages and cultures that brought together students from 37 schools across Delhi-NCR. The theme, ‘संगच्छध्वंसंवदध्वम्’ – Let us move together, let us speak in harmony, set the tone for a day dedicated to unity and cultural exchange.

The objectives of the event were to:

– Promote intercultural understanding through multilingual expression and collaboration.

– Provide a platform for students to showcase creativity, linguistic skills, and cultural awareness.

– Celebrate the richness of global and Indian languages and traditions.

The event commenced with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony. Mr. Timothy Strack, Language Advisor at PASCH, Goethe-Institute / Max Mueller Bhavan, spoke on the role of language in bridging cultures. Dr. Bhardwaj, a veteran Sanskrit educator and CBSE contributor, shared insights on preserving heritage while embracing new skills.

Competitions such as Doodle Art and Sanskrit Dialogue Presentation highlighted the talent and enthusiasm of participants. Judges including Mr. Fabian Welt, Mr. Raj Dhingra, Dr. Jyoti Raj, and Acharya Yatindra Kumar Sharma offered encouraging feedback.

The program concluded with a prize distribution ceremony. Principal Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Vice Principal Mr. Puneet Duggal, and Headmistress Dr. Ekta K Ratra lauded the efforts of all involved and emphasized the significance of such initiatives in nurturing global citizens.

SprachUtsavah 2.0 truly celebrated the spirit of unity in diversity and the transformative power of language.
