On Tuesday, 18th March 2025, the little explorers of Nursery Prep from Foundation Stage embarked on an exciting journey to the National Rail Museum and the National Zoological Park. The following day, Wednesday, 19th March 2025, the curious minds of Classes 1 and 2 set off on a day filled with discovery as they visited not only the Nehru Planetarium but also the Pradhan Mantri Sangrahalaya.
For the young minds in Nursery Prep, the day was an adventure of discovery and joy. As they roamed through the National Rail Museum, their excitement reached new heights when they had the chance to experience a thrilling train ride. The little explorers hopped aboard and journeyed through the museum grounds, passing by historic locomotives and learning about the evolution of railways. Their faces lit up with wonder, and the ride provided them with an unforgettable experience, making history come alive in the most enjoyable way.
The National Zoological Park was another highlight of the day. The children encountered a wide array of animals, from the majestic lions to the playful monkeys, each encounter sparking smiles and laughter. Through this hands-on experience, the children not only learned about various species but also developed a deep appreciation for wildlife and nature.
The following day, Classes 1 and 2 had a packed schedule of learning and excitement. Their first stop was the Nehru Planetarium, where they were taken on an immersive journey through the cosmos. The captivating show at the planetarium, featuring the wonders of planets, stars, and galaxies, ignited their imaginations and deepened their understanding of the universe. It was an awe-inspiring experience that left the young learners eager to know more about the mysteries of space.
Later, they visited the Pradhan Mantri Sangrahalaya, where they explored the significant contributions of India’s Prime Ministers in shaping the nation. The children were introduced to various artifacts, documents, and stories that brought the history of India’s leadership to life. The experience was both educational and inspiring, fostering a sense of national pride and encouraging the students to learn more about their country’s history and the leaders who played pivotal roles in its growth.
Through these excursions, children not only take away new knowledge but also lasting memories that will stay with them throughout their educational journey. The joy of learning in such dynamic settings will undoubtedly inspire a lifelong love for discovery, fostering a deeper understanding of the world and its wonders.
