From Classroom to Newsroom: A Masterclass in Journalism

As part of the Annual Book and Literary Week, Ahlcon International School hosted a vibrant session titled From Classroom to Newsroom, celebrating the power of journalism in modern society. The event welcomed two stalwarts of Indian media—Mr. Rajnish Sinha is a senior special correspondent at Live Times, National Channel, and Ms. Rajni Sharma is the assignment head at News India, National Channel. With over twenty-five years of experience each, the speakers captivated the audience with behind-the-scenes stories, career insights, and the evolving landscape of news reporting. From covering political milestones to interviewing iconic personalities, their journeys were inspiring. A highlight of the event was the engaging interactive session, where students eagerly posed thoughtful questions, gaining firsthand knowledge of journalism’s challenges and impact. Mr. Puneet Duggal, Vice Principal & Dr. Ekta K. Ratra, HM Secondary Stage, felicitated the guests with planters and mementos as a token of appreciation. The event offered students a real-world glimpse into journalism, sparking curiosity and admiration for the profession.
