Prep Inter Class Hindi Solo Rhyme Competition

“We are all born as empty vessels and are shaped by moral values”.

Education is the building block for child development, the foundation for a productive society. Effective, transformative, and lasting education is more than just academics; it’s about developing well-rounded individuals who can make positive contributions to society. While academic success is bound to be important, teaching moral values is equally important for ensuring learners grow into responsible, ethical, and empathetic individuals. To nurture young minds with the seeds of good values and to enhance their confidence in public speaking, an Inter Class Hindi Solo Rhyme Competition was organized for the Foundation Stage, Prep classes on the theme “नैतिक मूल्य” (Moral Values) on Wednesday, 23rd April 2025.

The event aimed at instilling essential life values such as honesty, kindness, respect, responsibility, and discipline among the children through engaging and expressive rhymes. Each participant came dressed in colorful costumes that reflected the theme of their rhyme, adding charm and creativity to their performances.

The little ones recited their rhymes with great enthusiasm and clarity. It was heartwarming to see children as young as 4-5 years confidently standing on stage and delivering powerful messages through simple yet meaningful Hindi poems. Rhymes like “बड़ों का आदर करना”, “झूठ बोलना बुरी बात है”, “मैं हूँ ज़िम्मेदार” and “ईमानदारी ” left a strong impression on the audience.

The judges were impressed by the students’ expressions, pronunciation, confidence, and understanding of moral values conveyed through their rhymes.

Our respected Headmistress, Foundation Stage, Ms. Pooja Shandilya also shared her thoughts at the end of the program. She was truly delighted to witness young learners express such important values with innocence and confidence and appreciated their efforts. She also acknowledged that competitions like these, sow the seeds of good character, which will grow with children throughout their life.

The event concluded with the announcement of winners, but in truth, every child emerged as a winner—carrying home not just applause, but valuable life lessons.

The competition was a beautiful blend of learning and expression. It highlighted how even the youngest voices can echo the greatest lessons, reminding us all of the timeless importance of moral values in shaping a better future.
